Abstract
(EN)
A two speed drive (10) has an input shaft (12) and an output shaft (22). Between the input shaft (12) and the output shaft (22) is a brake assembly (16), a planetary gear train (20) and a clutch assembly (18). The two speed drive (10) is shifted to a high speed when the brake assembly (16) is disconnected and the clutch (18) is connected. The low speed is achieved when the brake (16) is connected and the clutch (18) is disconnected. Braking of the output shaft (22) is achieved by having the brake (16) and the clutch (18) connected. The brake assembly (16) and the clutch assembly (18) are of the spring-engaged, electric-release type.

Entraînement (10) à deux vitesses possédant un arbre primaire (12) ainsi qu'un arbre de sortie (22) entre lesquels (12, 22) on a placé un ensemble frein (16), un train planétaire (20) ainsi qu'un ensemble embrayage (18). On fait passer à une vitesse élevée l'entraînement (10) à deux vitesses en désaccouplant l'ensemble frein (16) et en accouplant l'embrayage (18). On fait passer à une petite vitesse ledit entraînement en accouplant l'ensemble frein (16) et en désaccouplant l'embrayage (18). Le freinage de l'arbre de sortie (22) s'effectue par accouplement du frein (16) et de l'embrayage (18). L'ensemble frein (16) ainsi que l'ensemble embrayage (18) sont du type à déclenchement électrique et commandés par ressort.
