A method for the reclamation of zinc, lead, tin, cadmium and copper from dust containing such elements or compounds which involves leaching the dust with sulfuric acid or ammonium bisulfate, neutralizating the leachate with zinc oxide or zinc hydroxide, and cementing and/or roasting various intermediate and final products for the reclamation of the above metals. The method is especially designed for reclaiming the above metals from waste streams from production processes for electrical conductors. The method is a continuous process with the recirculation of various solutions remaining after the completion of each step.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la récupération du zinc, du plomb, de l'étain, du cadmium et du cuivre à partir de la poussière contenant ces éléments ou ces composés. Ce procédé consiste à lixivier la poussière avec de l'acide sulfurique ou du bisulfate d'ammonium, à neutraliser le lixiviat avec de l'oxyde de zinc ou de l'hydroxyde de zinc, et à cémenter et/ou griller les divers produits intermédiaires et finaux pour récupérer les métaux susmentionnés. Le procédé est particulièrement indiqué pour récupérer les métaux susmentionnés des flux de déchets des processus de production de conducteurs électriques. Ce procédé est un processus continu assurant la recirculation des diverses solutions restant à la fin de chaque étape.
