Abstract

The present invention relates to recombinant thermophilic host cells comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding a heterologous protein, and a method of producing recombinant protein utilizing same. The recombinant hosts of the present invention provide a better morphology in tank fermentations than many known fungal host cells, such as $i(Aspergillus), which morphology results in lower viscosity levels, and therefore improved productivity.

La présente invention concerne des cellules hôtes thermophiles de recombinaison contenant une séquence d'acide nucléique codant une protéine hétérologue et un procédé pour produire une protéine de recombinaison utilisant ces cellules. Les hôtes de recombinaison de l'invention présentent une meilleure morphologie dans les fermentations en cuve que beaucoup de cellules hôtes fongiques telles qu'$i(Aspergillus), cette morphologie ayant pour effet de diminuer les niveaux de viscosité et donc d'augmenter la productivité.
