The present invention provides a copolyester having improved weatherability and photostability. The copolyester is useful for producing fibers useful for automobile interior, draperies, outdoor awning, and for polyester sheeting for applications such as glazing, window-well covers, signs, skylights, etc.

La présente invention se rapporte à un copolyester ayant une meilleure résistance aux conditions atmosphériques et une meilleure photostabilité. On se sert du copolyester pour produire des fibres utilisées pour les intérieurs d'automobiles, les tentures, les stores extérieurs, et pour des matériaux en feuille polyester utilisés dans des applications telles que le vitrage, les auvents de fenêtre, les enseignes, les fenêtres à tabatière, etc.
