Abstract

A cordless electric powered caulking gun (10) includes a ball drive rod (30) having a helical thread (32) and a keyway (34). An electric motor (38) and gear reducer (42) is coupled to a spur gear (44) keyed to the ball drive rod (30). A cylindrical ball retainer (54) having a plurality of pockets (66) located on a helical locus aligned with the helical thread (32). A ball drive nut (82) is telescoped over and is selectively movable between a first and second position with respect to the ball retainer (54). A trigger (26) is coupled to the ball drive nut (82) via a spring (130) to urge the nut (82) from the first position to the second position when the trigger (26) is actuated. The ball drive nut (82) holds the balls (80) in engagement with the rod (30) when the nut (82) is in the second position and lightly holds the balls (80) in engagement with the rod (30) when the nut (82) is in the first position.

La présente invention concerne un pistolet motorisé sans fil (10) de mise en place par pression comportant une tige d'entraînement à billes (30) qui présente un filetage hélicoïdal (32) et un logement de clavette (34).
