This invention aims at providing a nonmagnetic or feeble magnetism diamond sintered body which can be used for a magnetized product and a magnetic material. This object is achieved by a nonmagnetic or feeble magnetism diamond sintered body the magnetic susceptibility of which is not more than 3 % of that of Fe, characterized in that this sintered body comprises a high-hardness sintered body containing not less than 50 vol.% of diamond of a grain size of 0.1-100 $g(m)m, a binder phase of the diamond sintered body having a metal component selected from the group comprising ferromagnetic iron family metals, such as Ni, Co and Fe and a mixture thereof, 1-50 vol.% of binder phase of not less than one kind of feeble magnetism metal component having a magnetic susceptibility of not more than 5x10-6(emu/g), such as Cr, V, Cu, Si, Zn, Al, No and W being solid dissolved in the previously-mentioned metal component, whereby the magnetic moment of the diamond sintered body having a binder phase the main components of which are iron family metals is reduced by not less than 80 %.

La présente invention vise à produire un élément fritté en diamant non magnétique ou faiblement magnétique pouvant être utilisé dans un produit magnétisé et un matériau magnétique. L'objet de l'invention est atteint par l'utilisation d'un élément fritté en diamant non magnétique ou faiblement magnétique, dont la susceptibilité ne dépasse pas 3 % de celle du Fe. Cet élément fritté comprend un élément fritté de grande dureté contenant au moins 50 vol. % de diamant d'une granulométrie comprise entre 0,1 et 100 $g(m)m, une phase de liant de l'élément fritté présentant un composant métallique sélectionné dans le groupe formé de métaux ferromagnétiques de la famille du fer, tels que Ni, Co et Fe et un mélange de ces éléments, de 1 à 50 vol. % d'une phase de liant comportant au moins un type de composant métallique faiblement magnétique présentant une susceptibilité magnétique ne dépassant pas 5x10-6(emu/g), tel que Cr, V, Cu, Si, Zn, Al, No et W dissous à l'état solide dans le composant métallique susmentionné.
