Abstract
(EN) A method for casting wear resistant parts which is capable of forming a hardened layer at a desired position with ease, whereby a wear resistant part can be obtained which has both wear resistance and toughness. To this end, the method comprises the steps of filling the inside of a holding member (16) which can be molten into molten steel with a hardened layer forming member (19) comprising superhard particles (17), setting the holding member (16) so filled with the hardened layer forming member (19) in a casting mold (10), and injecting molten steel into the casing mold (10), thereby causing not only the holding member (16) to be molten into molten steel but also the superhard particles (17) to be dispersed for solidification of molten steel. In addition, the hardened layer forming member (19) may be constituted by superhard particles (17), graphite powder (18) and/or metallic powder.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de moulage de pièces résistant à l'usure, permettant de réaliser facilement une couche durcie, à un emplacement désiré, et ainsi d'obtenir des pièces qui sont à la fois résistantes à l'usure et tenaces. A cet effet, le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes: remplissage de l'intérieur d'un élément de retenue (16), qui peut être fondu dans de l'acier en fusion, avec un élément (19) servant à la formation d'une couche durcie, comprenant des particules extra-dures (17), mise en place de l'élément de retenue (16), rempli dudit élément (19) servant à la formation d'une couche durcie, dans un moule de fonderie (10); et injection d'acier en fusion dans le moule de fonderie (10), cela ayant pour résultat que non seulement l'élément de retenue (16) est fondu dans l'acier en fusion mais également que les particules extradures (17) sont dispersées pour induire la solidification de l'acier en fusion. En outre, l'élément (19) servant à la formation de la couche durcie peut être constitué de particules extradures (17), de poudre de graphite (18) et/ou de poudre metallique.
