Abstract
(EN) A part of an apparatus (14) for receiving human vocal output comprises a first transducer (20) to convert a source sound into an electrical signal, an amplifier (24) to amplify the electrical signal and a second transducer (16) for converting the amplified electrical signal into a sound wave substantially in antiphase with the source sound. The first and second transducers (20, 16) are located close together and the amplitude of source sound which 'spills over' around the apparatus is reduced considerably by the antiphase sound signal. The apparatus has particular application to cellular telephones and walkie-talkies for increasing privacy and reducing disturbance to nearby people.
(FR) Une partie d'un appareil (14) destinée à recevoir une sortie vocale humaine comprend un premier transducteur (20) qui convertit une source sonore en un signal électrique, un amplificateur (24) qui amplifie le signal électrique et un second transducteur (16) qui convertit le signal électrique amplifié en une onde sonore sensiblement en opposition de phase avec la source sonore. Les premier et second transducteurs (20, 16) sont proches l'un de l'autre et l'intensité du son de source qui se diffuse autour de l'appareil est considérablement réduite par le signal sonore en opposition de phase. L'appareil s'applique notamment à des téléphones cellulaires et des talkies-walkies en vue de renforcer la confidentialité et de réduire nuisances les aux personnes proches.
