Abstract

The invention relates to a combination of a recording arrangement (1) and a source selection arrangement (3). The recording arrangement comprises analog (4) and digital (5) electrical inputs. An A/D-converter (7) is provided for converting analog signals applied to the analog input (4) into digital signals. Recording means (8) are provided for recording the digital signals onto a record carrier (2). Also switching means (10) are provided for coupling the analog electrical input or the digital electrical input to the input (9) of the recording means, under the influence of a first control signal. The source selection arrangement (3) comprises source selection means (13) for selecting between a first audio signal source (Compact Disc digital audio player, CD), a second audio signal source (TUNER), and at least one auxiliary audio signal source (AUX 1). The source selection arrangement is provided with analog (17) and digital (18) electrical outputs. The analog electrical output (17) of the source selection arrangement is coupled to the analog electrical input (4) of the recording means, while the digital electrical output (18) is coupled to the digital electrical input (5). The combination further comprises user actuable input means (26) coupled to selection signal generator means (28), being adapted to generate a selection signal at an output (30) in response to user actuation. The selection signal generator means (28) also comprises memory means (36) having a control signal input (38) coupled to the input means (26), the memory means being adapted to store information (I, I) relating to the source selected by the user and indicating to which input of the analog or the digital electrical input of the recording arrangement the signal supplied by the selected source is applied.

L'invention concerne une combinaison d'un agencement d'enregistrement (1) et d'un agencement de sélection (3) de source. L'agencement d'enregistrement comprend des entrées électriques analogiques (4) et numériques (5). Un convertisseur A/N (7) est prévu pour convertir les signaux analogiques appliqués à l'entrée analogique (4) en signaux numériques. On prévoit des moyens d'enregistrement (8) pour enregistrer les signaux numériques sur un support d'enregistrement (2). Egalement, on prévoit des moyens de commutation (10) pour connecter l'entrée électrique analogique ou l'entrée électrique numérique à l'entrée (9) du moyen d'enregistrement, par l'effet d'un premier signal de commande. L'agencement de sélection (3) de source comprend un moyen de sélection (13) de source pour choisir entre une première source de signaux audio (lecteur de disques compacts audio numérique, CD), une seconde source de signaux audio (SYNTONISEUR) et au moins une source auxiliaire de signaux audio (AUX 1). L'agencement de sélection de source est pourvu de sorties électriques analogiques (17) et numériques (18). La sortie électrique analogique (17) de l'agencement de sélection de source est couplée à l'entrée électrique analogique (4) du moyen d'enregistrement, alors que la sortie électrique numérique (18) est couplée à l'entrée électrique numérique (5). La combinaison comporte en outre un moyen d'entrée (26) couplé au moyen (28) générateur de signaux agencé pour émettre un signal de sélection à une sortie (30), en réponse à un actionnement effectué par l'utilisateur. Le moyen (28) générateur de signaux de sélection comprend également un moyen de mémoire (36) ayant une entrée (38) de signaux de commande couplée au moyen d'entrée (26), le moyen de mémoire étant agencé pour enregistrer l'information (I, I) relative à la source choisie par l'utilisateur et indiquant à laquelle des entrées électriques (analogique ou numérique) de l'agencement d'enregistrement est appliqué le signal fourni par la source choisie.
