A contact-type surface temperature probe (15) which has a generally uniform thermocouple junction (23). The thermocouple junction (23) is formed by joining each of the thermocouple elements or materials (25 and 26) directly to an electrically conductive spring flexure (28), thus eliminating the need for having to form the thermocouple junction (23) by joining the thermocouple materials (25 and 26) directly to each other. As a result, the thermocouple junction (23) of the present invention has a more uniform or smooth contour for better contact with the surface (16) without having to remove burrs or other non-uniformities.

L'invention concerne une sonde de température (15) de surface, du type à contact, qui présente une jonction (23) du thermocouple généralement uniforme. La jonction (23) du thermocouple s'effectue par assemblage de chacun des éléments ou matériaux (25 et 26) de thermocouple directement à un élément de flexion élastique (28) électroconducteur, ce qui évite d'avoir à effectuer la jonction (23) du thermocouple par assemblage direct des deux matériaux (25 et 26) du thermocouple. En conséquence, la jonction (23) du thermocouple selon la présente invention possède un contour plus uniforme ou lisse afin d'avoir un meilleur contact avec la surface (16), cela sans qu'il soit nécessaire d'enlever les bavures ou autres irrégularités.
