Abstract

This invention relates to a self-closing arrangement which enables flowable substance present in a container to be dispensed therefrom. The arrangement includes a flexible diaphragm having an outlet aperture, and a preferably conical stud which is fixed in relation to the diaphragm and which is located inwardly thereof, wherein the conical stub so coacts with the outlet aperture that the diaphragm in its normal position will rest with its outlet aperture resiliently in abutment with the stud and therewith close the container, and so that upon application of a pressure difference across the diaphragm to dispense substance from the container, the diaphragm will resiliently move away from the stud and therewith expose the outlet aperture. The diaphragm (3) includes at least two deformation zones (5, 6) which are spaced at different distances from the outlet aperture (4), wherein these deformation zones (5, 6) extend around the outlet aperture (4) and have the form of folds which include weakenings (7) in the diaphragm thickness, thereby enabling the remainder of the diaphragm (3) to have an uneven thickness without detrimentally affecting the mutual coaction between stud (8) and diaphragm (3) as the closure arrangement opens and closes.

Cette invention se rapporte à un dispositif de fermeture automatique qui permet de distribuer une substance coulante se trouvant dans un récipient. Le dispositif comprend une membrane souple possédant une ouverture d'évacuation, et une tige de préférence conique qui est fixée en relation avec la membrane et qui est placée à l'intérieur de celle-ci. La tige conique fonctionne conjointement avec l'ouverture d'évacuation de sorte que la membrane, dans sa position normale, prend appui par son ouverture d'évacuation, de manière élastique, contre la tige et ferme ainsi le récipient, et de sorte que, lors de l'application d'une différence de pression sur la membrane afin de distribuer la substance du récipient, la membrane s'écarte de manière élastique de la tige et dégage ainsi l'ouverture d'évacuation. La membrane (3) comprend au moins deux zones de déformation (5, 6) qui sont espacées à des distances différentes de l'ouverture d'évacuation (4). Ces zones de déformation (5, 6) s'étendent autour de l'ouverture d'évacuation (4) et ont la forme de plis qui comportent des parties d'affaiblissement (7) se trouvant dans l'épaisseur de la membrane, ce qui permet au reste de celle-ci (3) d'avoir une épaisseur irrégulière sans affecter le fonctionnement mutuel entre la tige (8) et la membrane (3) lorsque le dispositif de fermeture s'ouvre et se ferme.
