Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur elektrochemischen Behandlung von Calcium- und/oder Magnesium-haltigem Wasser oder Abwasser, insbesondere kommunalem und/oder gewerblichem Abwasser, das chemisch und/oder biologisch unter Verwendung von Mikroorganismen zum Zwecke der Phosphor- und/oder Stickstoff-Eliminierung behandelt wird, wobei in das zu reinigende, Phosphor und/oder Stickstoff enthaltende Wasser mindestens zwei Elektroden eingebracht und an eine Gleichstromquelle angeschlossen werden und bei einem konstant gehaltenen Stromfluß oder einer konstant gehaltenen Spannung in Gegenwart eines Oxidationsmittels eine elektrochemische Behandlung durchgeführt wird.

A process and device are disclosed for electrochemically treating calcium- and/or magnesium-containing water or waste water, in particular communal and/or industrial waste water which is chemically and/or biologically treated by means of micro-organisms in order to eliminate phosphorus and/or nitrogen. At least two electrodes are introduced in the phosphorus- and/or nitrogen-containing water to be purified and are connected to a direct current souce. An electrochemical treatment is then applied in the presence of an oxidising agent while current or voltage are kept constant.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de traitement électrochimique d'eau ou d'eaux usées contenant du calcium et/ou du magnésium, notamment d'eaux d'égout communales et/ou d'eaux usées industrielles qui sont traitées chimiquement et/ou biologiquement au moyen de micro-organismes afin d'éliminer le phosphore et/ou l'azote. Au moins deux électrodes sont introduites dans l'eau contenant du phosphore et/ou de l'azote et sont raccordées à une source de courant continu. On procède alors à un traitement électrochimique en présence d'un oxydant, le courant ou la tension étant maintenus constants.
