Abstract
(EN) A bainite rod wire or steel wire having an excellent workability in wire drawing and a process for producing the same. The wire contains on the weight basis 0.90-1.10 % of carbon, not more than 0.50 % of manganese and not more than 0.40 % of silicon; if necessary 0.10-0.30 % of chromium; not more than 0.003 % of aluminum, not more than 0.02 % of phosphorus and not more than 0.01 % of sulfur; and the balance consisting of iron and inevitable impurities. Further it has a tensile strength and a drawing rate as defined by the following formulae (1) and (2), respectively (1): TS « 85x(C)+60 and (2): RA » -0.875x(TS)+158; wherein C represents carbon content (wt%), TS represents tensile strength (kgf/mm2), and RA represents drawing rate (%).
(FR) L'invention se rapporte à une barre de bainite ou à un fil d'acier possédant une excellente aptitude à l'étirage dans les opérations de tréfilage, ainsi qu'à un procédé pour produire une telle barre ou un tel fil. Cette barre ou ce fil contient en poids 0,90 à 1,10 % de carbone, pas plus de 0,50 % de manganèse et pas plus de 0,40 % de silicium; si nécessaire, 0,10 à 0,30 % de chrome; pas plus de 0,03 % d'aluminium, pas plus de 0,02 % de phosphore et pas plus de 0,01 % de soufre; le reste étant constitué de fer et des impuretés inévitables. Cette barre ou ce fil présente en outre une résistance à la traction et un taux d'étirage tels qu'ils sont définis par les formules suivantes (1) et (2), respectivement (1): TS « 85x(C)+60; (2): RA » -0,875x(TS)+158; où C représente la teneur en carbone (en % en poids), TS représente la résistance à la traction (en kgf/mm2), et RA représente le taux d'étirage (en %).
