Abstract:
(EN) The present invention is a closed loop system for transfer of a fluid through a line (18) between a reservoir (10) and a vessel (12) in a manner to provide a flow-related parameter at a selected value. The system will have major use as a non-gravity-dependent infusion device. The system comprises a pressurizable reservoir (10) containing a quantity of the fluid; means to control the flow of the fluid being transferred in a conduit between the reservoir and the vessel (16), including means to pressurize the reservoir; reference means (20) with an output related to a selectable value of the flow-related parameter; means to measure the flow-related parameter (24); means to compare the outputs (22) of the reference means (20) and the measuring means (24); and means responsive to the ouptut (26) of the comparator means (22) to adjust the fluid flow control means (16) to provide the selected value of the flow-related parameter. Normally, the flow-related parameter will be the fluid flow rate in the conduit or the change of fluid volume in the reservoir.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système en circuit fermé de transfert d'un fluide par une canalisation (18) reliant un réservoir (10) à un récipient (12) de manière à produire un paramètre relatif au débit à une valeur sélectionnée. Ledit système est principalement utilisé en tant que dispositif de perfusion ne dépendant pas de la gravité. Ledit système est constitué d'un réservoir pressurisable (10) contenant un certain volume de fluide, de moyens de régulation du débit de fluide en cours de transfert dans un conduit entre le réservoir et le récipient (16) et de moyens de pressurisation du réservoir. Ce système comprend également des moyens de référence (20) dont la sortie correspond à une valeur sélectionnable du paramètre relatif au débit, des moyens de mesure du paramètre relatif au débit (24), des moyens de référence (20) et des moyens de mesure (24), ainsi que des moyens réagissant à la valeur de sortie (26) du comparateur (22) et servant à commander les moyens de régulation de débit de fluide (16) et à produire la valeur sélectionnée du paramètre relatif au débit. En principe, le paramètre relatif au débit correspond à la vitesse d'écoulement du fluide dans le conduit ou au changement de volume de fluide dans le réservoir.
