A method and means for generating synthetic spectra allowing quantitative measurement utilizes dual chip (12, 14) alternatively energized IREDs (10) with optical bandpass filter(s) (22, 24) passing two optical bands which has been combined with curvilinear interpolation to be utilized in a low cost small size quantitative measuring instrument.

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un moyen pour produire des spectres synthétiques permettant des mesures quantitatives, qui comprennent des diodes (10) émettant dans l'infrarouge proche, excitées en alternance, à deux puces (12, 14) et pourvues d'un ou de plusieurs filtres passe-bande optiques (22, 24) passant deux bandes optiques, qui sont combinés à une interpolation curviligne, en vue de leur utilisation dans un instrument de mesure quantitative de petite taille et à faible coût de fabrication.
