Abstract
(EN) A novel phenylalkanoic acid derivative represented by general formulae (I) or (II), a process for the production thereof, a method of separating optical isomers thereof, and an anti-inflammatory, analgesic or external preparation containing the same. In the said formulae, n represents an integer of 1 or 2; X represents halogen, alkoxy or nitro; R represents hydrogen or alkyl; and Z represents hydrogen or acyl.
