Abstract
(EN) A plurality of symbol mappers (42) in an adaptive communications device (30) use a superframe (50) of bits per baud. Each superframe (50) includes at least two groups of frames, a low bit frame (52) and a high bit frame (54). The superframe (50) has A) one of these two types of frames (52 or 54) uses whole bits per baud and the other uses fractional bits per baud or B) both of these two types of frames (52 and 54) will use fractional bits per baud.
(FR) Une multiplicité d'éléments de mise en correspondance (42) de symboles dans un dispositif de communication de symboles (30) utilisent une supertrame (50) de bits par baud. Chaque supertrame (50) comprend au moins deux groupes de trames, une trame de bits inférieure (52) et une trame de bits supérieure (54).
