Abstract
(EN) A cylinder lock assembly (11) includes a core (82), a key plug (80) mounted for rotation in the core (82), and a key (10). The key plug (80) is formed to include a keyway (108) and a plurality of tumbler pin bores (110) opening into the keyway (108). The key (10) has a bow (12) and a blade (14) appended to the bow (12). The blade (14) includes a bitted portion (22) and a stop shoulder (56) at the tip of the blade (14) for positioning the bitted portion (22) in alignment with the tumbler pin bores (110). A separate drive member (16) is provided on the key (10) for rotating the key plug (80) relative to the core (82) to actuate the cylinder lock assembly (11). The drive member (16) is located between the bitted portion (22) and the bow (12) and is configured to cooperate with a bottom portion of the key blade (14) to provide the primary torque or force for rotating the key plug in response to turning of the key (10) in the cylinder lock assembly (11) so that the bitted portion (22) and an offset portion (26) of the blade (14) do not carry substantial torque transmission load between the key (10) and the key plug (80) to rotate the key plug (80) in the core (82).
(FR) Ensemble serrure à pompe (11) comprenant une partie centrale (82), une fiche de clé (80) montée de manière à effectuer un mouvement de rotation dans la partie contrale (82) et une clé (10). La fiche de clé (80) comporte un logement de clé (108) et une pluralité de gorges pour broches (110) s'ouvrant dans le logement de clé (108). La clé (10) possède un anneau (10) et une lame (14) prolongeant l'anneau (12). La lame (14) comporte une partie dentelée (22) et un épaulement d'arrêt (56) situé au bout de la lame (14) et destiné à placer la partie dentelée (22) en alignement avec les gorges pour broches (110). La clé (10) comporte en outre un élément d'entraînement séparé (16) destiné à faire tourner la fiche de clé (80) par rapport à la partie centrale (82) afin d'actionner l'ensemble serrure à pompe (11). Ledit élément d'entraînement est situé entre la partie dentelée (22) et l'anneau (12) et est configuré de manière à coopérer avec une partie inférieure de la lame (14) de clé afin de fournir la force de torsion initiale destinée à faire tourner la fiche de clé en réaction à la rotation de la clé (10) dans l'ensemble serrure à pompe (11), si bien que la partie dentelée (22) et une partie saillante décalée (26) de la clé ne supportent pas de charge de transmission importante de la force de torsion entre la clé (10) et la fiche de clé (80) lorsque l'on fait tourner la fiche de clé (80) dans la partie centrale (82).
