Abstract

An oblique projection type display device. The display device includes a light source, light modulation means, projection means for projecting an image formed by light modulation means to a screen and the screen to make it possible to irradiate substantially parallel rays of light with respect to a light bulb and to prevent occurrence of non-uniformity of brightness of an image, wherein the axis of projected light projected by the projection means makes an oblique angle with the screen. The projection means comprises first projection optical means for converting the image formed by the light modulation means to an intermediate image having trapezoidal distortion, and second projection optical means for converting the intermediate image having the trapezoidal distortion to an image devoid of the trapezoidal distortion on the screen. The first projection optical means has two lenses which are not parallel to each other, and the structures of the light source, optical path conversion reflecting mirror and screen are improved.

Dispositif de visualisation du type par projection oblique.
