Abstract

For the application of a surface protecting layer of plastics onto heat transfer plates the plates are first assembled to a plate heat exchanger (1). After this a gaseous medium containing the plastic material, preferably in an evaporated state, is introduced into the plate interspaces. In a manner known per se the plastic material is caused to deposit onto the heat transfer plates in the plate interspaces to form a surface protecting plastic layer.

Pour appliquer une couche de plastique destinée à protéger la surface de plaques de transfert thermique, on assemble tout d'abord les plaques sur un échangeur de chaleur à plaques (1). On introduit ensuite dans les espacements entre les plaques, un support gazeux contenant le matériau plastique, de préférence sous forme volatile. Suivant une manière connue en soi, le matériau plastique se dépose sur les plaques de transfert de chaleur dans les espacements entre les plaques, pour former une couche de plastique destinée à protéger la surface desdites plaques.
