A separator of light liquids incorporating a dipped and turned inlet chamber (18) to promote lamina flow and to reduce turbulence with a coalescing filter (2) to improve separation efficiency and a spherical, specific gravity sensitive, outlet valve (4) floating freely within an outlet chamber (8) to prevent collected pollutants from entering the outlet pipe.

On décrit un séparateur de liquides légers, comprenant une chambre d'entrée (18) immergée et orientée pour faciliter le flux laminaire et pour réduire les turbulences, et un filtre de coalescence (2) afin d'améliorer l'efficacité de séparation, ainsi qu'une soupape de sortie sphérique (4) sensible aux densités, qui flotte librement dans une chambre de sortie (8) et sert à empêcher les polluants recueillis de pénétrer dans le tuyau de sortie.
