The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for locating anatomical cavities such as the epidural space. The puncture will be made on the basis of the loss of resistance technique with a seringe (12). The tapping is facilitated by taking some measurements in the operation region (15) and by the emission of acoustic and visual warning signals, as well as by the provision of data displayed on a screen (16), all of which quantify and corroborate the tactile feelings of the operator, influencing the operator's work and allowing the operator to make proximal trials which are not harmful or damaging, and to be extremely sure that the cavity has been reached. The method is applicable independently of the pressure characteristics of the space to be detected, and uses a conventional needle, which also makes an apprenticeship possible in optimal safety conditions.

La presente invención concierne a un método y aparato para la localización de cavidades anatómicas, tales como el espacio epidural. La punctión se realizará en base a la técnica de pérdida de resistencia con una jeringa (12), a la que se coadyuva mediante la toma de unas medidas en la región de trabajo (15) y por emisión de unas señales acústicas y visuales de aviso, así como mediante la aportación de unos datos en una pantalla (16) todo ello cuantificado y corroborando les sensaciones táctiles del operador, incidiendo en las fases de su operativa y permitiéndole realizar ensayos proximales o de tanteo, no lesivos, y tener una gran seguridad de que se ha alcanzado la cavidad. El método es aplicable con independencia de las características de presión del espacio a detectar, y utiliza una aguja convencional, posibilitando además un aprendizaje en unas óptimas condiciones de seguridad.

La présente invention concerne une méthode et un appareil de localisation de cavités anatomiques telles que l'espace épidural. La ponction s'effectue d'après la technique de perte de résistance avec une seringue (12), cette ponction étant réalisée avec l'assistance de mesures prises dans la région de travail (15) et l'émission de signaux acoustiques et visuels d'avertissement, ainsi qu'avec l'apport de données affichées sur un écran (16), tout ceci quantifiant et corroborant les sensations tactiles de l'opérateur, l'influençant dans ses phases de travail et lui permettant d'effectuer des essais proximaux, non douloureux, et d'être absolument certain d'avoir atteint la cavité. La méthode s'applique indépendamment des caractéristiques de pression de l'espace à détecter, et utilise une aiguille classique, permettant en outre un apprentissage dans des conditions optimales de sécurité.
