Abstract:
(EN) Disclosed is a rigid disk drive information storage device (1) which includes a rigid disk (16) having a diameter in the range of about 45-50 mm, with a housing having a footprint that includes a width of about 51 mm and utilizing a rotary actuator (29) for positioning read/write recording elements across the surface of the disk. The disk storage devices further includes a footprint with a length of about 70 mm, includes dynamic loading apparatus (33, 34, 35) for loading the read/write recording elements, supported on a slider body (31), into operative relationship with the disk and further includes an inertial latch for preventing rotation of the actuator when the drive is subjected to a rotational force.
(FR) Dispositif (1) de stockage d'informations à unité de disque rigide comprenant un disque rigide (16) d'un diamètre situé dans une plage comprise entre environ 45 et 50 mm, présentant un logement dont l'encombrement en largeur est d'environ 51 mm, et utilisant un actuateur rotatif (29) destiné à positionner les éléments d'enregistrement de lecture/écriture sur la surface du disque. Le dispositif de stockage à disque présente également un encombrement en largeur d'environ 70 mm, il comprend un appareil de chargement dynamique (33, 34, 35) destiné à charger les éléments d'enregistrement de lecture/écriture, et supporté sur un corps coulissant (31) en relation opérationnelle avec le disque, il comprend également un dispositif de verrouillage inertiel destiné à empêcher la rotation de l'actuateur lorsque l'unité de disque est soumise à une force de rotation.
