Abstract:
(EN) A battery is prepared by dipping battery elements (10) (which may be surrounded by a thin, lightweight material, such as a plastic bag (20)) into a liquid encapsulating, acid-resistant liquid material such as a rubber or resin. Individual elements can be connected either before or after hardening of the liquid to create a battery of the desired voltage. Heavy thermoplastic resin containers need not be used, and the weight of the resultant battery is thereby substantially reduced.
(FR) On constitue une batterie en plongeant des éléments de batterie (10) (qui peuvent être entourés d'un matériau mince et léger tel qu'un sac plastique (20)) dans un matériau liquide, résistant aux acides et encapsulant, tel que du caoutchouc ou de la résine. Les éléments individuels peuvent être reliés soit avant, soit après le durcissement du liquide pour créer une batterie de la tension désirée. Il n'est pas nécessaire d'utiliser des boîtiers en résine thermoplastique lourds et le poids de la batterie qui en résulte s'en trouve considérablement diminué.
