Abstract:
(EN) A simulator system (10) for use in providing an event simulation to occupants includes a motion base (12) moveable along displacement axes by means of displaceable actuators (14). Feedback sensors (50) provide signals indicative of the measured displacement of a corresponding actuator. An audio-visual display (22, 24) mechanism is included for providing a sequence of audio and visual images to the occupants. A motion base controller receives the feedback sensor signals and generates actuator drive signals below a cutoff frequency in response to received command signals. A system controller (20) provides the command signals to the motion base controller in synchronization with the presentation of the audio-visual images to the occupants. A mechanism is included for generating supplemental actuator drive signals that have frequencies above the cutoff frequency. A drive signal summing apparatus (32) serially configured with the motion base controller and the actuators receives the actuator drive signals and sums therewith the supplemental actuator drive signals before presentation to the actuators.

Des capteurs de réaction (50) produisent des signaux indiquant le déplacement mesuré d'un actuateur correspondant. Un mécanisme d'affichage audiovisuel (22, 24) présente une séquence d'images et de sons aux occupants. Une unité de commande de base de mouvement reçoit les signaux des capteurs de réaction et produit des signaux de commande d'actuateur au-dessous d'une fréquence de coupure en réponse aux signaux de commande reçus. Une unité de commande de système (20) envoie les signaux de commande à l'unité de commande de base de mouvement, en synchronisme avec la présentation des images audiovisuelles aux occupants. On utilise également un mécanisme qui produit des signaux supplémentaires de commande d'actuateur à des fréquences supérieures à la fréquence de coupure. Un appareil de sommation (32) de signaux de commande placé en série avec l'unité de commande de base de mouvement et les actuateurs reçoit les signaux de commande d'actuateur et leur ajoute les signaux supplémentaires de commande d'actuateur avant de les appliquer aux actuateurs.
