Abstract:
(EN) Device and process for rapidly grinding an irregular surface. The process consists in, firstly, measuring in relation to the model of the surface in its final state, the grinding allowances at a certain number of modelling points. Secondly, the feed rate, the rotational speed and the pressure of the grinding wheel are adapted to the grinding allowances. The grinding wheel (20) pressing system comprises a pneumatic cylinder (30) and a passive hydraulic cylinder (31) which serve as dampers to match the machining force to the variations in the grinding allowances between the modelling points, thereby resulting in high-speed levelling of the surface. Application, in particular, to the inner surfaces of Pelton turbine buckets after hardfacng by means of weld beads.
(FR) Dispositif et procédé permettant de meuler rapidement une surface irrégulière. Le procédé consiste à mesurer par rapport à la modélisation de la surface à l'état fini les surépaisseurs en un certain nombre de points de modélisation et à adapter la vitesse d'avance, la vitesse de rotation et la pression de la meule en fonction des surépaisseurs. Le système presseur de la meule (20) comprend un vérin pneumatique (30) et un vérin hydraulique (31) passif servant d'amortisseur de manière à adapter l'effort d'usinage aux variations de surépaisseurs entre les points de modélisation, ce qui aplanit rapidement le relief de la surface. Application en particulier aux surfaces internes des augets de turbines Pelton après un rechargement de matière par des cordons de soudure.
