Abstract:
(EN) A non-naturally-occurring fusion protein comprising an extension peptide portion covalently linked at its C-terminus to the N-terminus of a biologically active portion is disclosed. The extension peptide portion can be removed by DPP IV cleavage. A use of fusion proteins with DPP IV cleavable extension peptide portions in medecinal preparations is disclosed. A method of purifying desired proteins from a mixture containing a fusion protein is disclosed.
(FR) L'invention concerne une protéine de fusion ne se produisant pas naturellement, comprenant une partie peptidique d'extension présentant à sa terminaison C une liaison covalente à la terminaison N d'une partie biologiquement active. La partie peptidique d'extension peut être enlevée par clivage par la dipeptidylpeptidase IV (DPP IV). L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de protéines de fusion ayant des parties peptidiques d'extension clivables par la DPP IV, dans des préparations médicales. Un procédé pour purifier les protéines désirées à partir d'un mélange contenant une protéine de fusion est également décrit.
