Abstract:
(EN) A seal for connecting abutting first and second elastomeric sheets (14B, 16B), having overlying metallic portions including an elastomeric strip (61). The elastomeric strip is bonded to the elastomeric portions of the first and second sheets. An electrically conductive filler (64) is attached to the metallic portions of the abutting sheets. A metallic layer (80) is then plated to the conductive filler. A layer of flexible and abrasion resistant material (90) adheres to the metallic plate and to the metallic portions of the abutting sheets.
(FR) Joint servant à relier une première et une deuxième feuille élastomère (14B, 16B) dont les bords sont contigus et possédant des parties métalliques situées l'une au-dessus de l'autre et comprenant une bande élastomère (61). La bande élastomère adhère aux parties élastomères des première et deuxième feuilles. Une charge à conductivité électrique (64) est fixée aux parties métalliques des feuilles à bords contigus. La charge conductrice est ensuite recouverte d'une couche métallique (80). Une couche de matériau souple et résistant à l'abrasion (90) adhère à la plaque métallique et aux parties métalliques des feuilles à bords contigus.
