Title (EN) IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO LINEAR FRICTION BONDING
(FR) AMELIORATION CONCERNANT LA SOUDURE PAR FROTTEMENT LINEAIRE
Abstract:
(EN) In a linear friction bonding process the amplitude of oscillation between the parts being bonded is sensed in a plane adjacent the interface between the parts, is compared with an ideal amplitude, and is adjusted by means of a feedback loop so as to achieve the ideal amplitude.
