Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a method for discharging a fluid, notably an aqueous medicament solution, as a spray of droplets by causing a fluid to flow through a nozzle orifice (104), which method is characterised in that a secondary flow is induced in at least part of the flow of fluid through the nozzle orifice aperture (104) by a direction changing means (106) located within the bore of the nozzle passage, and/or at or immediately adjacent an end of the nozzle passage and/or at or immediately adjacent the nozzle orifice aperture. Preferably the direction changing means induces a secondary flow at the nozzle orifice which is equivalent to at least 10 % of the fluid flowing at an exit angle of 90° to the overall line of travel of the remainder of the fluid. The invention also provides a nozzle assembly for use in the method of the invention and a spray generating device incorporating the nozzle assembly.
(FR) La présente invention comprend un procédé permettant d'éjecter un fluide, en particulier une solution médicamenteuse aqueuse, sous forme d'une pulvérisation de gouttelettes grâce à l'écoulement d'un fluide à travers un orifice de buse (104). Le procédé est carctérisé en ce que l'on provoque un écoulement secondaire dans une partie au moins de l'écoulement du fluide à travers l'orifice de ladite buse (104) à l'aide d'un moyen permettant de changer le sens d'écoulement (106) et se trouvant à l'intérieur du passage de la buse et/ou sur ou adjacent à l'ouverture de l'orifice de buse. De préférence, le moyen permettant de changer le sens provoque un écoulement secondaire au niveau de l'orifice de buse qui est équivalent à 10 % au moins du fluide s'écoulant selon un angle de sortie de 90° par rapport à la ligne globale de parcours du restant de fluide. L'invention comprend également un ensemble de buse destiné à être utilisé dans le procédé décrit et un pulvérisateur incorporant l'ensemble de buse.
