Abstract:
(EN) A slowly turning rotating mass, such as a wind turbine rotor (23), is balanced in situ by measuring the magnitude of a phenomenon, such as acceleration, created by rotor unbalance at a location on a mass support shaft (29) which is close to the mass. The measurement of the phenomenon is made along a line selected to be insensitive to the bias of gravity on the mass. The measurement is made while the mass turns at its usual operating rate. The structure (12) which supports the shaft is fixed as rigidly as possible in space while measurements of the phenomenon are made.
(FR) On équilibre in situ une masse tournante de faible vitesse, telle qu'un rotor de turbine éolienne (23), en mesurant l'amplitude d'un phénomène tel que l'accélération, provoqué par un déséquilibre du rotor à un emplacement sur l'arbre support (29) se trouvant près de la masse. La mesure de ce phénomène s'effectue le long d'une ligne choisie pour être insensible à l'influence de la gravité. On effectue la mesure pendant que la masse tourne à sa vitesse de fonctionnement normale. La structure (12) qui supporte l'arbre est fixée de façon la plus rigide possible dans l'espace tandis qu'on effectue les mesures dudit phénomène.
