Abstract:
(EN) A measuring probe (2) to detect the presence of electrically conducting granular material comprising metal electrode (4) comprising tube (5) adhered to porous, ceramic insulator (12) adhered to skirt (10) of metal electrode (6). Electrode (4) is connected to gas supply (58) supplying gas, for example nitrogen, under pressure which emerges into space (26) in the probe and then passes through insulator (12) to emerge from face (20) thereof. Heat resistant cable (46) has its conductor (52) brazed to cap portion (8) of electrode (6). Cable (46) and electrode (4) are connected into electrical circuit (66) in which current flows when a conducting bridge of granular material simultaneously contacts electrodes (4 and 6) of skirt (10). Should the level of the granular material drop below electrode (6), gas emerging from face (20) blows away any granular material trying to preserve the conducting bridge, and circuit (66) is interrupted.
(FR) On décrit une sonde de mesure (2) servant à détecter la présence d'un matériau granulaire électriquement conducteur, et présentant une électrode métallique (4) comprenant un tube (5) fixé à un isolant céramique poreux (12) qui à son tour est appliqué à la jupe (10) d'une électrode métallique (6). L'électrode (4) est reliée à une source de gaz pressurisé (58), par exemple de l'azote, qui débouche dans l'espace (26) de la sonde et ensuite passe à travers l'isolant (12) pour en sortir par sa face (20). Le conducteur (52) du câble thermorésistant (46) est brasé sur la coiffe (8) de l'électrode (6). Le câble (46) et l'électrode (4) sont reliés au circuit électrique (66), dans lequel s'écoule un courant lorsqu'un pont conducteur de matière granulaire vient en contact simultané avec les électrodes (4 et 6) de la jupe (10). Au cas où le niveau de matière granulaire passerait au-dessous de l'électrode (6), le gaz sortant de la face (20) enlève tout matériau granulaire tendant à maintenir le pont conducteur, et le circuit (66) est interrompu.
