Abstract:
(EN) The present invention is directed to a method for controlling plant cell growth comprising modulating the level of a cell cycle control protein in said plant cell for a time and under conditions sufficient to control cell division. Preferably, the cell cycle protein is p34cdc2 or like molecule and the plant is a monocotyledonous plant or dicotyledonous plant.
(FR) Procédé de régulation de la croissance des cellules végétales, consistant à moduler le niveau d'une protéine de commande de cycle cellulaire dans une cellule végétale pendant une période et dans des conditions suffisantes pour permettre une régulation de la division cellulaire. De préférence, la protéine de cycle cellulaire est le p34cdc2 ou une molécule analogue, et la plante est une plante monocotylédone ou dicotylédone.
