Title (EN) APPARATUS FOR FORMING A REVOLVING EXCHANGE SURFACE
(FR) APPAREIL POUR DEVELOPPER UNE SURFACE D'ECHANGE ROTATIVE
Abstract:
(EN) An elongated sealed enclosure (11) defining a space for receiving a reaction liquid, and including a device for injecting the reaction liquid into the enclosure and removing it therefrom, contains a set of evenly spaced, lengthwise-arranged and rotatably mounted plates (12) provided for rotation about a longitudinal axis. Said plates (12) comprise rims (31, 32, 33, 36) along the edges thereof which project over at least one of the opposite sides (24, 25) of the plates so that when said plates (12) rotate, they are dipped one after the other into the reaction liquid and retain a predetermined amount of liquid for part of their angular travel.
