Abstract:
(EN) Polycyclic diamines, incorporating a basic framework similar to [3.3.3]propellane, and derivatives of the basic polycyclic diamines and a process for preparing same are provided. The diamines are prepared by subjecting bispyridine compounds to electroreductive coupling in an acidic solution. The polycyclic diamines and derivatives thereof are useful as chain extenders, crosslinking agents and curatives in various polymer systems.
(FR) Diamines polycycliques comprenant une structure de base similaire à celle de [3.3.3]propellane, dérivés des diamines polycycliques de base et leur procédé de préparation. La préparation des diamines consiste à soumettre des composés de bispyridine à un couplage électroréducteur dans une solution acide. Les diamines polycycliques et leurs dérivés sont utiles comme prolongateurs de chaîne, agents de réticulation et agents de prise dans divers systèmes de polymères.
