Abstract:
(EN) An egg packer apparatus is disclosed having baskets (30) mounted on a transport movable in a continuous path. The baskets (30) have compartments (48, 50, 52) one beside the other. Eggs (8) are fed into the compartments (48, 50, 52) and the baskets (30) move from the loading station to an inverted position at an unloading station. In the inverted position, the eggs roll along a cover (60) to provide lateral movement of the egg in the direction of its pointed end. The unloading station has chutes (62, 64) to receive only the blunt end half of the egg as it rolls along. The egg drops into the chute blunt end first. The egg topples forwardly down the chute and drops pointed end downwardly into an egg flat (66).
(FR) On décrit un appareil d'empaquetage d'÷ufs pourvu de paniers (30) montés sur un dispositif de transport mobile sur une trajectoire continue. Les paniers (30) comprennent des compartiments (48, 50, 52) placés les uns à côté des autres. Des ÷ufs (8) sont chargés dans les compartiments (48, 50, 52) et les paniers (30) passent du poste de chargement à une position inversée au niveau d'un poste de déchargement. Dans la position inversée, les ÷ufs roulent le long d'un élément de couverture (60) de manière à se déplacer en un sens latéral dans la direction de son extrémité pointue. Le poste de déchargement comprend des couloirs de ramassage (62, 64) recevant seulement la moitié arrondie de l'÷uf alors qu'il roule en avant. L'÷uf tombe dans le couloir de ramassage, le côté arrondi en avant. Puis l'÷uf bascule en avant dans le couloir et tombe dans une forme d'empaquetage (66) d'÷ufs.
