(EN) A load carrying device for attachment to the roof of a vehicle, particularly for carrying articles such as a windsurfer, in which a roof rack of the two spar type includes an extension piece (9) to facilitate loading, and the device includes a frame structure, which is preferably in a ladder form arrangement, to carry the article to be loaded.
