Abstract:
(EN) Exothermic mold powder for continuous casting comprising: 20 $m(k) 90 wt% of basic material; 0 $m(k) 10 wt% of material of siliceous material containing 50 wt% or more of SiO2; Ø $m(k) 20 wt% of flux material; 2 $m(k) 30 wt% of one or more kinds of material selected from a group consisting of alkaline metal carbonate, hydrogen carbonate, and nitrate as exothermic materials; and, as reducing agent, 3 $m(k) 30 wt% of one or more kinds of material selected from a group consisting of carbon, silicon, and silicon alloy. By controlling the kind and quantity of reducing agent, speed of oxidation and heat generation can be controlled and a cast piece less susceptible to cementation and containing less foreign substances as well as pin holes can be obtained.
(FR) Poudre exothermique de moulage destinée à la coulée continue et comportant: 20 $m(k) 90 % en poids de matériau de base; 0 $m(k) 10 % en poids de matériau siliceux contenant au moins 50 % en poids de SiO2; 0 $m(k) 20 % en poids de matériau fondant; 2 $m(k) 30 % en poids d'un ou plusieurs types de matériau sélectionnés parmi le groupe constitué de carbonate de métal alcalin, de carbonate d'hydrogène et de nitrate à titre de matériaux exothermiques; et, à titre d'agent de réduction, 3 $m(k) 30 % en poids d'un ou plusieurs types de matériau sélectionnés parmi le groupe constitué de carbone, de silicium et d'alliage de silicium. Grâce à un réglage du type et de la quantité d'agent de réduction, on peut réguler la vitesse de l'oxydation et du dégagement de chaleur, et obtenir une pièce moulée moins susceptible à la cémentation contenant moins de substances étrangères et de bulles ouvertes.
