Abstract:
(EN) Waste paper or the like wood cellulose material is shredded if necessary into particles in the size range of about 3 mm to 10 mm, aqueous sodium silicate is applied to said particles, an aqueous solution of calcium chloride is then applied to the particles, and the wetted particles rapidly dried by quickly heating said wetted paper particles to a temperature in the range of about 730° to 920 °C whereby trapped moisture is converted to steam to foam or intumesce the silicate composition into porous and permeable granules. The paper preferably is shredded to particles in the size of about 6 mm, the aqueous solutions applied by spraying, and the paper particles preferably are quickly heated to a temperature of about 850 °C within about 10 to 15 minutes.
(FR) Le vieux papier ou tout matériau de cellulose de bois similaire est déchiqueté si nécessaire en des particules ayant une dimension de l'ordre de 3 à 10 mm. On verse ensuite sur lesdites particules un silicate de sodium aqueux, puis une solution aqueuse de chlorure de calcium. On sèche les particules mouillées en chauffant rapidement lesdites particules à une température comprise entre environ 730° et 920 °C, de sorte que l'humidité se transforme en vapeur et fait mousser ou gonfler la composition de silicate, qui se transforme en grains poreux ou perméables. Le papier est de préférence déchiqueté en particules ayant une dimension d'environ 6 mm, les solutions aqueuses sont appliquées par vaporisation, et les particules de papier sont de préférence chauffées rapidement à une température d'environ 850 °C pendant environ 10 à 15 minutes.
