(EN)A method for removing toxic organochlorine compounds such as polychlorodibenzodioxin and polychlorodibenzofuran from combustion exhaust gas with a high efficiency, which comprises decomposing organochlorine compounds contained in a combustion exhaust gas at a temperature ranging from 150 to 350 °C by bringing the compounds into contact with a catalyst comprising at least one member selected from the group consisting of platinum, palladium, ruthenium, manganese, copper, chromium and iron, and oxides thereof and supported on a carrier containing at least titanium oxide, aluminum oxide and silicon oxide.
(FR)Le procédé décrit, qui sert à éliminer avec une grande efficacité les composés organochlorés toxiques, tels que la polychlorodibenzodioxine et le polychlorodibenzofurane, contenus dans les gaz d'émission d'une combustion, consiste à procéder à la décomposition des composés organochlorés contenus dans les gaz d'émission de la combustion, à une température comprise entre 150 et 350 °C, en plaçant ces composés en contact avec un catalyseur comprenant au moins un élément choisi dans le groupe constitué par le platine, le palladium, le ruthénium, le manganèse, le cuivre, le chrome et le fer, et par des oxydes de ces éléments, le catalyseur étant en outre placé sur un support contenant au moins de l'oxyde de titane, de l'oxyde d'aluminium et de l'oxyde de silicium.
