(EN)A method for stabilizing hydrogen peroxide and the stabilized composition are claimed employing as a stabilizer a tin (II) salt of an acid selected from the group hydrofluoric acid, C6 to C17 saturated monocarboxylic acids and C2 to C6 saturated polycarboxylic acids, preferably oxalic acid. The tin content of hydrogen peroxide prepared from a tin (II) oxalate stock solution can be reduced by filtration to less than 1 mg/l if the tin oxalate stock solution has been properly aged.
(FR)On décrit un procédé de stabilisation de peroxyde d'hydrogène ainsi que la composition stabilisée, lequel procédé utilise comme stabilisant du sel stanneux d'un acide choisi dans le groupe composé d'acide hydrofluorique, d'acides monocarboxyliques saturés C6 à C17 et d'acides polycarboxyliques saturés C2 à C6, de préférence l'acide oxalique. La teneur d'une solution mère d'oxalate de stannate (II) peut être réduite par filtration à moins de 1 mg/l si la solution mère d'oxalate de stannate a été convenablement vieillie.
