Abstract
(EN) An injection molding technique is disclosed in which non-rigid or flexible components intended to be encapsulated within an interior of an injection molded product are held in postion in an interior of a mold cavity (11) during the injection operation by thin, rigid forks or blades (23, 24, 25) with surfaces interior to mold cavity contoured to mate with and capture the non-rigid, flexible component (17, 19). Such forks or blades can be retracted prior to the final packing portion of the molding cycle to allow plastic flow into the void left by the retracted blades, or the blades can be retracted after the end of the injection cycles and voids left in the molded product. Portions of the encapsulated components themselves can be fashioned to capture and hold portions of other encapsulated components during the injection process.
(FR) Technique de moulage par injection dans laquelle des composants non rigides ou flexibles destinés à être encapsulés à l'intérieur d'un produit moulé par injection sont maintenus en position à l'intérieur d'une cavité de moule (11) pendant l'opération d'injection, à l'aide de fourches ou de lames minces rigides (23, 24, 25) dotées de surfaces intérieures à cavité du moule profilée pour s'adapter au composant non rigide flexible (17, 19) et pour le prendre. Lesdites fourches ou lames peuvent être rétractées avant la partie de garniture finale du cycle de moulage afin de permettre un écoulement plastique dans le vide laissé par les lames rétractées, ou les lames peuvent être rétractées après la fin des cycles d'injection et les vides laissés dans le produit moulé. Des parties mêmes des composants encapsulés peuvent être façonnées de manière à prendre et à maintenir des parties d'autres composants encapsulés pendant le processus d'injection.
