Abstract:
(EN) Near-infrared quantitative analysis instruments (170) non-invasively measure blood glucose by analyzing near-infrared energy following interactance with venous or arterial blood, or transmission through a blood containing body part. A replaceable cartridge (195) stores data unique to an individual patient/user. The analysis instruments (170) are accurate and readily lend themselves to at-home testidiabetics. A method is also disclosed for easily and reliably custom calibrating near-infrared quantitative analysis instruments including obtaining a plurality of blood samples and blood glucose level measurements thereof at a predetermined time interval. These values are entered into the analysis instrument. Near-infrared optical measurements of the individual are simultaneously taken using the analysis instrument at another predetermined time interval. Calibration regression analysis is performed on the data to custom calibrate the analysis instrument which involves linearly interpolating the blood sample glucose measurements with the near-infrared optical recordings.
(FR) Des instruments d'analyse quantitative à l'infrarouge proche (170) mesurent de manière non invasive la glycémie par analyse d'énergie infrarouge proche suivant une interaction avec du sang veineux ou artériel, ou une transmission par l'intermédiaire d'une partie du corps contenant du sang. Une cartouche remplaçable (195) stocke des données uniques relatives à un patient/utilisateur individuel. Les instruments d'analyse (170) sont précis et se prêtent facilement à des dispositifs de test à domicile pour diabétiques. L'invention concerne également un procédé d'étalonnage personnalisé facile et fiable d'instruments d'analyse quantitative infrarouge proche consistant à obtenir une pluralité d'échantillons de sang ainsi que leurs mesures de glycémie à un intervalle de temps prédéterminé. On introduit ces valeurs dans l'instrument d'analyse. On effecte simultanément des mesures optiques de l'individu à l'infrarouge proche à l'aide de l'instrument d'analyse à un autre intervalle de temps prédéterminé. On procède à une analyse de régression d'étalonnage sur les données afin d'étalonner de manière personnalisée l'instrument d'analyse, ce qui consiste à interpoler de manière linéaire les mesures de glucose de l'échantillon de sang avec les enregistrements optiques à l'infrarouge proche.
