Abstract:
(EN) A mitral heart valve replacement of essentially flexible bioincorporable material comprising a generally D-shaped (30) sewing ring having an opening (31), with at least one long straight side portion (32), an anterior cusp (33) hinged contiguously from that straight side portion (32) a posterior cusp (34) hinged contiguously from a shorter side portion (35) of the opening (31) opposite the anterior cusp (33), and two lateral cusps (36A & 36B) hinged contiguously one from each of the remaining side portions of the opening (31) extending between adjacent ends of the side portions (35) from which the anterior (33) and posterior cusps (34) are hinged, together with chordae of bioincorporable material extending from edge portions of the cusps for connection to the papillary muscles in the cavity of the ventricle when the sewing ring is sutured to the atrio-ventricular junction of the host or patient heart.
(FR) L'invention se rapporte à une prothèse de remplacement de la valvule mitrale, qui est conçue à base d'une matière flexible bio-implantable et qui comprend un anneau à coudre en forme de D (30) avec ouverture trapézoïdale (31), comportant un lobe antérieur (33) articulé adjacent au côté le plus long (32), un lobe postérieur (34) articulé adjacent à un côté parallèle opposé plus court, et des lobes latéraux (36A, 36B) articulés adjacents aux deux autres côtés, tous les lobes étant associés à des fils (37) en matière bio-implantable qui s'étendent depuis les lobes pour être reliés aux muscles papillaires en étant suturés à des parties de liaison (38), au moment de la suture de l'anneau à coudre à la jonction auriculoventriculaire. La zone de réunion des lobes est conçue de façon à ce que, au moment de la fermeture de la valvule, les parties de bord (33X, 34X, 36X) des lobes se rencontrent en dehors du plan de l'anneau à coudre dans la cavité ventriculaire du c÷ur du patient.
