Abstract:
(EN) A reflective biograting consists of an optically flat layer of a transparent composition such as silicon dioxide having a first and second surface, spatially periodic zones of active and inactive binding agent on the first surface, and a reflective metal layer having a thickness sufficient to prevent transmission of substantially all light therethrough. The reflective metal layer can be supported on an optically flat surface of metal wafer, and the reflective metal can be aluminum, silver, gold, chromium, nickel, titanium or platinum coating on a polished wafer. Preferably, the silicon dioxide layer is formed either by direct sputtering of silicon dioxide or by coating an alkali metal silicate solution on the surface of the reflective metal, optionally containing an aminoalkysilane and a water-soluble hydroxylated polymer such as a dextran. Alternatively, the reflective support comprises a multilayer dielectric mirror on an optically flat surface.
(FR) L'invention se rapporte à un réseau de diffraction biologique à pouvoir réfléchissant qui se compose d'une couche optiquement plane d'une composition transparente, telle que du dioxyde de silicium, comportant des première et seconde surfaces, des zones périodiques espacées d'un agent de liaison actif et inactif situées sur la première surface, ainsi qu'une couche métallique réfléchissante d'une épaisseur suffisante pour empêcher la transmission à travers elle essentiellement de toute énergie lumineuse. La couche métallique réfléchissante peut être placée en support sur une surface optiquement plane d'une tranche métallique, et le métal réfléchissant peut être de l'aluminium, de l'argent, de l'or, du chrome, du nickel, du titane ou du platine déposé sur une tranche polie. La couche de dioxyde de silicium est de préférence formée soit par aspersion directe du dioxyde de silicium soit par dépôt d'une solution de silicate de métal alcalin sur la surface du métal réfléchissant, contenant éventuellement un aminoalkylsilane et un polymère hydroxylé hydrosoluble, tel qu'un dextrane. Dans une variante, le support réfléchissant comporte un miroir diélectrique multicouche sur une surface optiquement plane.
