Abstract:
(EN) A novel substance matristatin represented by general formula (I) and a matristatin producing microorganism belonging to the genus $i(Actinomadura), wherein R1 represents hydrogen or hydroxyl, R2 represents hydrogen or methyl, and R3 represents a group represented by formulae (II), (III), (IV), or (V), provided that: R3 represents a group of formulae (II), (III), (IV) or (V), when R1 represents hydroxyl and R2 represents methyl; R3 represents a group of formula (II) when R1 represents hydrogen and R2 represents methyl; and R3 represents a group of formula (IV) when R1 represents hydroxyl and R2 represents hydrogen. This compound has a collagenase inhibitory activity and is effective in controlling vascularization and infiltration and metastasis of cancer.
(FR) L'invention se rapporte à une nouvelle substance, la matristatine, représentée par la formule générale (I) ainsi qu'à un micro-organisme produisant de la matristatine qui appartient au gène $i(Actinomadura). Dans la formule (I), R1 représente l'hydrogène ou un hydroxyle, R2 représente l'hydrogène ou un méthyle et R3 représente un groupe représenté par les formules (II), (III), (IV) ou (V), à condition que: R3 représente un groupe de formule (II), (III), (IV) ou (V), lorsque R1 représente un hydroxyle et R2 représente un méthyle; R3 représente un groupe de formule (II), lorsque R1 représente l'hydrogène et R2 représente un méthyle; et R3 représente un groupe de formule (IV), lorsque R1 représente un hydroxyle et R2 représente l'hydrogène. Un tel composé présente une activité d'inhibition de la collagénase et sert à réguler la vascularistion et l'infiltration et la métastase du cancer.
