Abstract:
(EN) A process is disclosed for the treatment of a new or deactivated supported metal catalyst containing noble metal to prepare said catalyst for use in the hydrodehalogenation of a compound having the formula: CnHmFpXq, where each X is independently selected from Cl and Br, wherein n is an integer from 1 to 6, m is an integer from 0 to 12, p is an integer from 1 to 13, and q is an integer from 1 to 13, and wherein m+p+q equals 2n+2 for saturated compounds which are acyclic, m+p+q equals 2n for saturated compounds which are cyclic and for olefinic compounds which are acyclic, and m+p+q equals 2n-2 for olefinic compounds which are cyclic, comprising the step of contacting said catalyst with an atmosphere comprising chlorine gas at a temperature from about 100 °C to 400 °C for a time sufficient to improve the catalytic activity thereof for said hydrodehalogenation. A process is also disclosed for catalytic hydrodehalogenation characterized by using a supported metal catalyst containing noble metal which has been so contacted with an atmosphere comprising chlorine.
(FR) On décrit un procédé de traitement d'un catalyseur métallique soutenu, nouveau ou désactivé et à teneur en métal précieux afin de préparer ledit catalyseur pour l'utilisation lors de l'hydrodéshalogénation d'un composé dont la formule est CnHmFpXq, dans laquelle chaque X est sélectionné indépendamment entre Cl et Br, n est un nombre entier compris entre 1 et 6, m est un nombre entier compris entre 0 et 12, p est un nombre entier compris entre 1 et 13, et q est un nombre entier compris entre 1 et 13, et dans laquelle m+p+q égale 2n+2 pour les composés saturés acycliques, m+p+q égale 2n pour les composés saturés cycliques et pour les composés oléfiniques acycliques, et m+p+q égale 2n-2 pour les composés oléfiniques cycliques. Ledit procédé consiste à mettre ledit catalyseur en contact avec une atmosphère renfermant du gaz chloré à une température comprise entre environ 100 °C et environ 400 °C et pendant une période suffisamment longue pour améliorer son activité catalytique pour ladite hydrodéshalogénation. On décrit également un procédé d'hydrodéshalogénation catalytique caractérisé par l'utilisation d'un catalyseur métallique soutenu à teneur en métal précieux que l'on a ainsi mis en contact avec une atmosphère renfermant du chlore.
