Abstract:
(EN) An anesthetic agent scavenging system having a cartridge (32) containing activated charcoal (92) and fiberglass elements (94) held within the cartridge body (78) by end fittings (80, 82) and connected to a breathing circuit by lines (30, 48) and being provided with individual shut-off valves (88, 90) and a waste valve vent (34) and allowing free flow of waste gas from the breathing circuit through the cartridge.
(FR) L'invention se rapporte à un système d'évacuation de gaz anesthésiques, qui comprend une cartouche (32) contenant du charbon activvé (92) et des éléments de fibre de verre (94) maintenus dans le corps (78) de la cartouche par des raccords terminaux (80, 82) et qui est reliée à un circuit respiratoire par des conduits (30, 48). La cartouche comporte des soupapes de fermeture (88, 90), une pour chaque conduit, ainsi qu'un évent à clapet de décharge (34), de façon à permettre l'écoulement libre des gaz résiduaires du circuit respiratoire à travers la cartouche.
