Abstract:
(EN) A diagnostic system (10) for support of laser ocular surgery, for example, solves a problem for competition for light which is often encountered when a series of different detectors are used to receive and detect features of a target reflecting an illuminating light beam. The intensity of an illuminating beam (14), particularly in eye surgery, is limited to a level above which damage to the eye can occur. In a system (10) wherein a plurality of beam splitters (26, 32, 38, 44, 50) are used, each reflecting a portion of the light intensity and transmitting the remaining light intensity, the series of detecting devices (30, 36, 42, 48, 54) compete for adequate light intensity for the particular functions being served. The system of the invention (10) solves this problem and increases the effective quantity of light useful from a given input intensity by dividing the light spectrally after its reflection from the eye (12), thereby making use of a different spectral range of the light at each of the plurality of different detecting devices (30, 36, 42, 48, 54).
(FR) Système de diagnostic (10) servant notamment d'appui à la chirurgie oculaire au laser. Ce système résout un problème de concurrence pour la lumière réfléchie que l'on rencontre souvent quand une série de détecteurs différents sont utilisés pour recevoir et détecter des caractéristiques d'un objet réfléchissant un faisceau de lumière éclairant. L'intensité d'un faisceau lumineux (14), tout particulièrement dans le domaine de la chirurgie oculaire, est limitée à un niveau au-dessus duquel des lésions oculaires peuvent survenir. Dans un système (10) qui utilise une pluralité de fractionneurs de faisceau (26, 32, 38, 44, 50), chaque fractionneur reflétant une partie de l'intensité lumineuse et transmettant le reste d'intensité lumineuse, la série de dispositifs de détection (30, 36, 42, 48, 54) entrent en concurrence pour l'intensité lumineuse convenant aux fonctions particulières assumées. Le système de la présente invention (10) résout ce problème et accroît la quantité effective de lumière utile d'une certaine intensité d'entrée en divisant la lumière spectralement après sa réflexion par l'÷il (12), c'est-à-dire qu'un domaine spectral différent de la lumière est utilisé par chacun des divers dispositifs de détection (30, 36, 42, 48, 54).
