Abstract:
(EN) A direct radiating electroacoustic transducer which exhibits extended axial displacement of the diaphragm (6) by virtue of the moving-roll compliance member (12) extending between the frame (4) of the loudspeaker and the outer perimeter (20) of the diaphragm (6). This provides a basis for an increase in the area of the diaphragm (6) relative to a given diameter for the mounting frame (4), and also provides a basis for a loudspeaker in which the width of the compliance member (12) is independent of the extreme axial displacements of the diaphragm.
(FR) Un transducteur électro-acoustique à rayonnement direct qui présente un déplacement axial étendu de la membrane (6) par l'intermediaire d'un élément d'élasticité acoustique à conducteur mobile (12 dans la fig. 14) s'étendant entre le cadre (4) du haut-parleur et la périphérie externe (20) de la membrane (6). Ceci fournit une base pour l'augmentation de la surface de la membrane (6) par rapport à un diamètre donné du cadre de montage (4), ainsi qu'une base pour un haut-parleur dans lequel la largeur de l'élément d'élasticité acoustique (12) est indépendante des déplacements axiaux extrêmes de la membrane.
